A Taste of Paradise & The Beaver Supermoon
Join us for an evening of delicious food and a fascinating presentation all about the Supermoon at Eagle Butte Observatory.
The tour begins at The Clubhouse at Paradise Valley, where guests are welcomed with a mocktail, appetizer and the choice of main course.
From The Clubhouse, guests will board the Sunshine Trolley and head to the Eagle Butte Observatory to view the Beaver Supermoon. A Supermoon is when the moon is full and closer to the earth, appearing 30% larger. Looking through the telescopes at the observatory, guests will be able to see details of the moon we wouldn’t normally see outside of a Supermoon. Amateur astronomer Rod DeVries will share his knowledge throughout the night. Conversation and questions are welcome.
Please arrive at The Clubhouse at Paradise Valley at 5:45pm. The tour will return to The Clubhouse following the presentation at Eagle Butte Observatory, at approximately 10pm. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicle in the parking lot at Paradise Valley for the duration of the tour.
Select your choice of main meal and dessert at the time of booking.
The experience at the Eagle Butte Observatory is partially indoors and partially outdoors. Please dress for the cool evening weather to stay warm while outside.

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
